Tiller Engineering Inc. was retained by Martek Morgan Finch to perform supplementary anchor load testing along with a visual condition inspection of 2 fixed eye anchors on the Atlantic Place Rooftop. All 22 anchors were previously tested on September 25th 2018 by Tiller with anchors #6 and #12 experiencing deflection under the conditions of the test at the time.

As a result, Tiller performed additional testing of these anchors with the roofing removed around the anchors so that the anchor base could be inspected during testing. The anchors were incrementally pull tested and held at each incremental load to ensure its strength.  Field testing was conducted in accordance with CSA Z271-10 Safety Code for Suspended Platforms. Load testing was recorded with a 5-ton load cell.
