Client: Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador

Tiller Engineering was tasked to provide engineering and inspection services to the Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador’s Ocean Science Centre Seawater Tanks and subsequent structures and foundations. The client noted concerns of structural fatigue. These tanks are used for various research and education purposes by Memorial, so making sure these were assessed is paramount. Engineering Inspection reports were created showing the deficiencies of the numerous tanks, recommendations, design, and mitigation strategies.
